Opening of a Condolence Book at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abuja

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abuja (Nigeria) has opened a condolence book for a period of three days on the occasion of the martyrdom of His Eminence Ayatollah Khamenei the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

On the first day of the opening the condolence book, a number of ambassadors and diplomatic representatives of foreign countries, members of the media and cultural community, as well as citizens and supporters of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended the embassy. By signing the condolence book and expressing their sympathies, they conveyed their solidarity with our country in the face of the recent aggressions by the United States and the Zionist regime.

In addition, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, expressed his condolences and sympathy to the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran over this great loss. In various cities across Nigeria, Muslims have also held peaceful demonstrations condemning the military attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime and expressing their solidarity with the people and government of Iran.

The condolence book will remain open for three days, starting from Wednesday, 3 March 2026.
