Notice on Document Authentication
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abuja provides document authentication services.
In order for documents issued in Nigeria to be authenticated by the Embassy, the following procedure must be observed:
- Documents must first be certified by the relevant authority or ministry.
- They must then be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria.
- Only after completing these steps will the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abuja authenticate the documents.
Required documents for authentication:
* Valid passport or national ID card
* valid contact numbers
* Valid residential address and email
* Proof of payment for authentication fees
