Iranian Ambassador Meets with President of ECOWAS Commission

H.E. Gholamreza Mahdavi Raja Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Nigeria met with H.E. Dr. Omar Alieu Touray President of the ECOWAS Commission. During the meeting the Ambassador presented his Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to ECOWAS.

The two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, political and economic developments, regional and international affairs, and ways to further expand and deepen cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran, ECOWAS and its member states. They also emphasized the existing potential for enhancing cooperation in various fields and strengthening engagement between Iran and the countries of West Africa.
